Some years ago, LCC has provided this avenue for communication, and the forums have been useful at times. Over the past few years, new online tools such as blogs and Facebook have developed and now serve our needs better. At a recent meeting, LCC's Communication and Technology Committee recommended that the forums be closed, and the Board of Directors agreed. In the interest of being good stewards of the time, energy, and funding with which God has gifted us, we believe that our energies are best used on other endeavours to foster healthy discussion and communication within our Synod and beyond.
